make sure you have charged the tablet, or have the power cable on during reset.
Just try resetting again. If it does not work contact the polaroid service centre.
Not sure what you've tried so far, but have you downloaded and installed the firmware update? You will have to download it to a Micro SD card using a computer. Once you have it downloaded, insert the card in you tablet then to a hard start up. Do this by holding the power button and the volume down button at the same time. You will be asked what you would like to do. Select install upgrade from SD card. Once that is done, restart tablet. Good luck!
either a virus, or something has become loose inside (dropped it and the LCD connector is out).... Google "screen replacement video" and see if you're brave enough to check.
Have you downloaded the firmware upgrade? You'll have to download it to a micro SD chip via computer. Insert the chip into your tablet and do a hard start by holding the down volume and power buttons simultaneously.
None of these answers are relevant to the question being asked, I too have this problem the device is a POLAROID S8 tablet, not Samsung and not virus related, the device just sits at the polaroid splash screen and will not boot into the os
