Then you still might have a bad toner cartridge. Try the following in the EXACT order:
1 Pull out the toner cartridge.
2 close the printer back up and let it recognize that there is not toner cartridge.
3 turn the printer oss
4 insert the new toner cartridge
5 turn the printer back on.
if the above fails you will need a new cartridge, preferably a different brand.
Hi, maybe the roner cartridge you inserted is not supported by Toshiba e-Studio 170f. This may be one of the reasons that the machine can't recognize the toner cartridge. Reinstall the toner cartridge that you have. If that doesn't fix the issue try to replace the toner cartridge with new one. If you continue experiencing this issue contact your technical support team.
Did you make sure that the new toner cartridge doesn't have a orange pull tab on the side. If that is left in it will make the toner not recognized by the printer.
