My whirlpool washer has an f21 error. We have taken the front off and declogged, but we are still getting the f21 error.
Hi, you say you have de-clogged it? But where? There is a water trap / housing that fills with water and forces air up a tube to close the contacts on an electrical switch. Have you found this housing and confirmed it's clear? With the water drained and F21 showing, pull the tube carefully off the 'air switch' Do not electrocute yourself but listen for a click. If you hear one, the housing is not letting the water drain quickly enough. If there is no air in the tube, maybe the switch is sticking? Disconnect it and see what happens. Let me know and leave feedback if i have helped. Regards jb

I removed the front panel and checked where the white tube is where you can screw off cover. I have declogged some grimy hair/ water. We have had stuff come out of there before, sponges etc. Nothing like that today. I then removed the pump turning clockwise and discovered nothing dicernable, found nothing but grime, greyish. Now when I turn washer to drain it makes a sucking sound just past pump where waer drains upward into tube to e removed by hose attached to back. Prior to removing pump access it was not making that sond at all. Pump is warm, makes sounds. Not sure if it is the pump or?
The housing you speak of I do not know where that is located? On the pump itself? Thank you
I also decloged my washer from the front ploge but now the hot water won't stop filling into tank I need to shut of water so it can stop feeding into washer. Can someone help me fix this
