It is the board that has the digital clock. You may also have a key/membrane pad that is separate but connected to it with a ribbon cable. This connection is many times the source of the problem. The conector is sensitive to being loose and oxidation. Many times you can wiggle/clean and/or make sure the connection is good and it will clear up the error code. (Do All this with the Unit Unplugged), If that doesnt work than it would seem you have a defective ERC board,...Electronic Range Control. When you replace the board you should also replace the membrane/touchpad associated with it. This is what most brands/repair centers suggested

Kenmore stove

Your Kenmore oven has a built-in fault detector. When the oven detects an issue, the display screen on the control panel will flash a fault code. The F10 fault code on your Kenmore oven indicates that the thermal protector on your oven's control unit, or microcontroller (MCU), has overheated. If the MCU overheats, the computer stops all motor functions. Several items on your oven could cause the thermal protector to overheat. Therefore, you must troubleshoot the F10 code to determine why it appeared on your display panel.

Frigidaire FEB24S5AB 24 inch F10

Hello friend, thanks for the post!

I understand your Frigidaire wall oven is flashing a F10 code and not heating up. Based off of that information an F10 code stands for a runaway temperature, which could be an issue with a sensor probe or oven control. It could possibly be a miscommunication with the board and that could be cleared out by resetting your appliance. To reset your appliance disconnect power to it by unplugging the oven or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. If that step does not resolve your issue and you continue to receive the F10 code I would recommend contacting a technician to come and repair your appliance. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

F10 code on a Kenmore self-clean range model #970-6061

Your Kenmore oven has a built-in fault detector. When the oven detects an issue, the display screen on the control panel will flash a fault code. The F10 fault code on your Kenmore oven indicates that the thermal protector on your oven's control unit, or microcontroller (MCU), has overheated. If the MCU overheats, the computer stops all motor functions. Several items on your oven could cause the thermal protector to overheat. Therefore, you must troubleshoot the F10 code to determine why it appeared on your display panel. Instructions 1 Inspect the area around and behind the oven to ensure you did not place the oven next to a source of heat, such as a register vent or other appliance that becomes very hot. If this is the case, you must remove the oven from the heat source to prevent the issue from occurring again. 2 Inspect the oven to ensure all vents on the oven are open and unblocked. This includes heat vents that vent to the outside of the home. Remove any clogs from the oven's venting and check to see if the code reappears. 3 Inspect all of the wiring harnesses that connect to the MCU. Remove the back cover from the control panel with a screwdriver. Look for disconnected harnesses or any harnesses with black residue on them. This indicates an issue with the MCU. Remove the bolts that secure the MCU to the control panel housing and then replace the MCU with a new one. Reconnect all of the harnesses and retest.

Hello
Welcome ,

F10 Runaway Temperature.

(F10 only) Check *RTD Sensor Probe & replace if necessary. If oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. Severe overheating may require the entire oven to be replaced should damage be extensive.

You will need a professional diagnoses to determine the extent of this damage
