When I turn power on red light stays on and a screeching noise

Please describe the problem more accurately. Flashing red usually means 'stand-by' state, flashing blue/green - starting up. When (during that) do you have a sound? Are there any 'high voltage' sounds like soft screeching from the screen? Is it LCD or LED?

Shut it down by holding the power button until the screen goes black, don't tap the power off button, wait for the black screen. Then let your phone charge for a few hours (maybe over night) with power off and see if that helps.

YOU HAVE LOOSE OR WORN FAN BELT. when you turn off lights and aircon, it remove load on your alternator.

If the power light does not come on and it makes a screeching noise, most likely its broken. I would contact the manufacturor, in case some warranty left.

Bad hard drive. If you take it out and run it to a computer store they should check it out for you for 10 bucks just to verify.

The problem is the power supply of your television.The power supply have abnormal voltage supply output cause of leaked capacitor.The leak capacitor have bulging tops, so that you can identify the leak capacitor. My Loewe Aconda 81 HDR TV will not turn on. When I press the power button the green light comes on but the red light stays on with it and after a few seconds the green light goes out and the red light stays on. Any help please.

Ur power board need it replaced,LED indicator light not sustaning power.
