I can download transactions from my account with Regions Financial without difficulty when using the download button within the accounts. Clicking download in any account downloads all the accounts. However I cannot get this to work in the One Step Update feature. I have accounts at several banks, and they download correctly. Regions used to download correctly in one-step-update before they made changes a few months ago, but now no longer does. Is there a solution?

there is nothing problem with the quick books or your bank account , this months begining balance doesnot match because you have done something(edited) with the cleared or previously reconciled transactions which adds up to the balance and shows more. just find the old edited in the list of reconcilation and reconcile as usual. u willl be alright

May I suggest you remove this particular instance, save your work, shut down Quicken. Restart the program and put the transaction in again. Sometimes I have success toing it this way.
I hope it works for you.

This will occur if you have any very long security symbols -- it happened to me when I entered some of the new option symbols which can run 20 characters or more. I did not check to see exactly how long they can be but editing the security list and reducing them to 15 characters or less solved the problem.

you should not do that.... you should keep the transactions in the account were it belongs.
maybe you transfer some funds from the old to the new account? that should make the link between the accounts, but that does not mean that now all the movements in the old account are part of the new account.
you can have more than one account in your quick books.
but, if you really want to do it, instead of move the transactions, consider just changing the old account information, to match the new one account, and all the new transacctions will arrive to the same account.
does it make sense?
