Before you start taking it apart. Apple will give you a new one for this issue.
Call the Apple store near you and make an appointment. when you get there they will give you a replacement at no charge under warranty.
If you remove the back it will generally void your warranty and they will look for signs of you opening it.
Hi, Try resetting it first, take off the cover and completely remove your battery. Wait for like a minute or so, then put the cover back and battery. Power it up and it should be okay again. If this model has an actual button labeled RESET I would push it also(I don't believe these have them). I would think the battery is good since it is pretty new.
