SOURCE: Dacor PGM 304

ON DACOR AS WELL AS THERMADOR YOU HAVE TO TAKE ALL THE BURNER CAPS OFF AND INTHE CENTER OF EACH BURNER CELL YOU WILL SEE A RELEASE NUT THEIR ARE 3 TO 4 DIFFERENT TYPES BUT THE MOST COMMON REQUIRES 13/16 SOCKET OR A 3N1 PUTTY KNIFE TO UNSCREW THEM. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IF THE NUTS DO NOT COME LOOSE FREELY DO NOT FORCE THEM!!! USE SOME LIQUID WRENCH AND LET IT SOAK FOR A WHILE THEN ATTEPMT AGAIN. OTHER WISE YOU WILL MANGLE YOUR GAS TUBE AND ORFICECES AND HAVE 7OR 8 PARTS TO ORDER INSTEAD OF ONE

I need to replace two blue indicator lights and I need directions

I have replaced several of the indicator lights in the control knobs.

Turns out that Dacor doesn't sell exact replacement lights (actually LED modules).

What I did was to go to a local electronics supply store and purchase Blue replacement LEDs and a current limiting resistor to connect in series. Replacement LEDs can vary in brightness depending on your taste ... I chose a super bright LED which makes the control knobs noticeably brighter. The value of resistor will vary depending on the LED you choose (brighter LEDs need slightly more current and as such the resistor value will be slightly less).

Once you've opened the range from the top (remove knobs, grates and burners) then remove a few screws and the entire unit opens with a hinge in the back.
Look over the LED light modules which shine just below each knob and fashion a replacement LED assembly.

Total material cost per LED unit was ~ $2-3 (LED, resistor, wire and heat-shrink tubing)

The 4 of the 5 knobs on my Dacor cooktop GGC365 have "locked up" and can't be turned on. Mechanism is supposed to depress and turn to left but I can't get them to move at all. There is nothing in booklet...

Hi, I know this is not a solution to your problem, but if you are not able to fix your cooktop, and decide to get rid of it - I will buy your the grates from it...

My Dacor PGM365 knobs keep breaking off and I can't find a place to get replacements. do you know of a source?

http://www.reliableparts.com/ - DACOR refuses to fix the fundamental quality issues with the knobs. I've replaced a dozen in the past few years. I will never buy Dacor again because of the customer support refusing to acknowledge the issue.

Can't remove Dacor gas cooktop knobs-afraid too pull harder

The Dacor knobs have a history of breaking easily. For that reason I recommend that you clean them in place using cotton swabs, tooth brush, etc. WHatever cleaning agent you use, put it on and let it sit for 5 minutes to loosen up any grime.

They do pull off but they often break and they are pricey to replace.
