My washer seems to think it is full of water. When I turn it on it immediately starts agitating with no water in it. I filled the washer and did a load. It pumped out the water but I had to refill for rinse cycle. It also spinned just fine. I checked the lines for kinks, cleaned out the filters and checked the pressure line to the switch. No clogs. Help.

I fixed it yesterday. After checking the continuity of my lid switch and pressure switch and finding them ok I removed the tubing from the pressure switch and applied air (blew into it). There was a clog and blowing on it removed it for now. Apparently the pressure switch was telling the machine that the tub was full of water and wouldn't let it start the spin cycle. I ran three loads last night and it worked perfect. I may have to remove the connection on the side of the tub and clean it properly if it clogs again.

Hello, your problem is going to be with the lids switch, in this machine it is going to be a magnetic contact. You can confirm this my pulling the front panel off and accessing the wireing to the lids switch, If you have electrical knowledge bypass the lid switch using a wire nut and run the machine. If all is ok make sure you relpace the lid switch since it is there for a reason. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!!!
