Ask.com is my home page but I want google to instead
First, What are you using? Google Chrome? If you are using google chrome go and click the button on the top right, the three lines, and click settings, now go and look for Search, it should be there somewhere, click on "Manage Search Engines", and in Default Search Settings, hover over google.com and click "Make Default" Simple as that.

yeah it looks like you installed a program that had yahho stuff attached to it. open IE and go to your TOOLS menu and click on internet options. on the general tab you can change it to google.com
if your home page changes again you need to download a couple programs and scan for spyware, malware etc..

If you want to set google to be your home page, just do this simple steps:
1. Open your internet browser
2. Click "tools" then click "internet options"
3. Under the General tab, enter this http://www.google.com/

Have you tryed this? open "Internet Explorer" click on "tools" then click on "Internet Options" at the bottom. In the field under "Home page" type in http://www.google.com click apply at bottom then ok see if this works for you.

Very easy to answer. I assume that you are using internet explorer as your browser. If so you simply go to the tools pull-down menu, then choose the last litem on the menu which is internet options, after this the first item is to set your homepage. Either go to google.com and enter "use current" or type google.com in the box provided. Thant's it.
