That is probably a TE (tE) error. That indicates a fault, usually a short, with the thermistor (temperature sensor). First check for a blockage in the dryer venting and lint filter. Next make sure that the vent hose is correctly connected to the exhaust of the dryer and the outlet. Check that the wires between the thermistor and the control board are undamaged.

If those are fine, the thermistor needs to be replaced.

te error code is (touchpad error). you have to replace the touchpad assy. the board and overlay.

tE is mostly related to
temperature sensor wire and connection problem. Look for a broken or loose wire.

tE stands for Thermistor Error. This is a problem having to to with the water temperature, possible causes are: water heater was low on hot water, or the thermistor gave a faulty reading. It can be corrected by unplugging the machine for 10 minutes and restarting the machine.

The problem could be the thermistor, but before you replace it, check the wiring. Many people with this error code have found one or more broken wires. If you call for service, be sure the technician checks the wires.
