Make this steps and fix it. Merry Christmas
Turn on your DVD player.

    • 2
Open the DVD player's main drive, also commonly called the DVD "tray." The region cannot be changed while a DVD is in the machine, so many DVD players require the tray to be open as an extra precaution.

    • 3
Push "Info" or "Setup" on your remote.
    • 4
Use the remote to select the "Region" option as indicated on your TV screen.
    • 5
Select "Region 9" to change the system to multiregion formatting. Regions 1 through 8 represent specific geographic locations and will not allow multiregion playback.

I accidentally changed the command code from dvd3 to dvd1 and now my remote doesn't work, and I don't know how to access the systems menu to change it back.

Hi,
Since unit has been set on DVD1 remote mode so you need to set remote control itself on dvd1 mode to communicate with unit.
Press and hold Enter and 1 numeric key on remote control for 5 seconds, this will change remote control to dvd1 mode, now unit will accept remote control signal and you can operate it normally.
Thanks.

Can not get my sony dvd to get off of dvd1 and it is now locked u

Go to your DVR and manually turn the DVR off. Press the STOP button for
two or three seconds. The DVR COMMAND MODE setting will display in the
DVR window. (DVD1, DVD2 or DVD3)

Set the remote to the COMMAND MODE setting that was diaplayed by depressing
both the remote ENTER key and the desired number key (1, 2 or 3) and holding
them both at the same time for 3 seconds.

You can now use the remote to set the DVR to the desired COMMAND MODE.
To do this depress SYSTEM MENU on the remote and go to SETTINGS and then
COMMAND MODE. Select either DVD1, DVD2 or DVD3. Once you delect a setting
that is different from what was set, your remote will stop working again.

Reset your remote to the desired COMMAND MODE by depressing the remote ENTER
key and the desired number key (1, 2 or 3) and holding them both at the same
time for 3 seconds. The remote should now control the DVR.

Remote doesn't work

Slide the bottom part of the remote control down. Switch the bottom right button to DVD 1. There might be a white sticker that covers it so remove the sticker first. Then hold down the "Enter" button and the "1" button down at the same time for a few seconds. That should make the remote work again.
