Kyocera km 2550 displays system error Main switch off/on error code 3100

this code would indicate that the lamp assy under the glass is out of position,sensor has failed or the drive cable(s) have come off.
This will need a technicians visit.

Error C3100

This code means machine's scanner home possition error. Try to check scanner home possition sensor if fixed in its possition. if not try to check scanner lamp unit movement .

Please try and check the polygon motor and connector cable of the Laser scanner.If none, replace the engine PWB board.

c4000 polygon motor sychronize error, try to cleaning polygon, if not effective, need to replace new polygon.

A) scanner lock (transportation lock)enabled.There is a yellow /orange lever next to the glass, make sure it has not been changed to the lock position.switch off/on(main power cord).

b) Sometimes noise with 3100- Scanner glass (big) come off from frame.

c) Is lamp on? if off PCB

d) Dust in optics unit. Clean all mirrors.
