LG Split Ac-Sprinkles water in roomafter a while of cooling

Hi, Thanks in advance. I have an LG LSA18T1RAE1 1.5ton Split Airconditioner purchased 2/3 years back. Last monsoon it started sprinkling water in the room after a while of cooling. Where a few drops of water are sprayed in the room every 2-3 minutes. I caled the service center guy and he said it is due to excess humidity in monsoon that all the water is not able to drain and some is being sprayed! But the problem is still present during this hot and dry summer months of 40+ degrees C in Ahmedabad. Water is able to drain from the pipe outside at a decent rate and it doesn't seem like a blockage anywhere. Since the service guy is not able to find a reason, can you experts help me understand the problem or possible issues?

    Hello Ac Fixer,

I did check on some of the points you mentioned on your solution.
    - Cheked the slope - it is fine.
    - Checked the fins and there seems to be no block - also blew over it with blower from vcuume cleaner.
    - I could not check the drain pan as it is not accessible from the front grill, i guess not untill i open a few screws on the front. There are no indications in the manual or on mahcine as to where i can find that.
    - Also the trap in drain line could not be located for the same reason. The water 'rains' at both times, when the machine is cooling or is cut off.
Can you advise me on how to inspect the drain tray?
    Thank you once again.

First check to make sure that the indoor unit is very slightly off level sloped to the drain area also turn off power and inspect the indoor coil with a flash light to make sure all the fin area is open the drain pan has two possible drain connections if they are both hooked up then the primary "lowest"
could be stoped up a blast of water or air to the drain line should clear out slime also make sure their is a trap in the drain line or the water will only drain dwhen unit is off hope this solves your problem thanks
