With at least some bobcats it is not possible to remove the fuel tank without removing the engine. Outside my realm of expertiese but at least I can point you to repair manuals. No info on reliablitiy of the sites but the 2nd one strikes me as more mainstream.
unlikely that it will be clogged
May be blocked by the build up of alge growth caused by condensation in the hot tank as it cools down
most pick up lines ar screwed in the top so disconnect ant hoses /lines to that point then unscrew it out
If you have a black slime like substance on the end , remove the tank and have it cleaned out with steam then use a diesel fuel conditioner to clean out the ,lines and pump
never allow the machine to sit with less than 3/4 tank of fuel to prevent a reoccurrence of the alge
you need to take off thr right rear tire and remove inspection plate,then reach in and pull line from top of tank. if pickup tube is original eqip. it has probably broke off. you will find 3/4 of old tube in bottom of tank. go to bobcat dealer and get replacement tube,which is now all poly and flexible. while you are at it,reroute fuel line to the plunger,by putting it down bottom right side of engine,right under motor mount below alternator. an easy test of fuel line is to take off fuel cap and then blow air in hose at primer bulb towards tank.if you hear the air at fuel tank opening,your tube is broken. if you hear bubbling line should be good. you need to have a can of air in your tool kit,go to walmart and get can of air in the electronics department,the opening is small,get yourself an male air fitting from automotives and put on end of air can,use pipe tape on end. if fuel line gets dirty you can blow back to tank at primer bulb,this an emergency fix,if primer bulb is collapsed the line is clogged or pickup is clogged.
for remove the bobcat fuel tank you need remove first the motor or if do you want to clean the fuel tank you only need remove in the botton side the steel bar with 3 screws and remove the fluel tank plug.
