LG LCD Tv has sound but no picture only colour vertical lines. Can be fixed?

The T con board is not working correctly with your TV or the cable connections are either broken or loose or the external device are not attached fully to the TV. Or the wiring is not been connected properly.

The picture shouldbe free of vertical or horizontal lines.

1. If the lines are present on the TV screen, press the SMARTbutton. on the remote control and select Settings> SUPPORT > Picture Test.

If the Video (Picture/Pix) is gone but you can hear the Audio (sound), then it could mean the YSUS PCB Assembly is gone/kaput/finish. Can replace the PCB, not repair the PCB due to timing circuitry involve. Cost maybe roughly $500 depending where you located. The PCB is located on the left hand side of your TV when you are facing the back (Back open). Might find 3-4 brown flex membrane connecting to the plasma panel.
