HOW CAN I DO THIS?
The brown wire labeled parking brake -12v should be connected to the parking brake switch. So that to watch a DVD the parking brake needs to be set. but can be bypassed by connecting to ground.
if connected to the lights it could be your problem

Solution 2: Autmank1 is correct on this. do not hook the orange reverse light wire up. ground the brown break light wire to the black ground wire. I did this yesterday and everything works fine. You can watch dvds day or night.
The screen goes blue because of the vehicles dimmer switch. the way the factory wires the radio the backlight is controlled by the dash light dimmer.
You need to take the dimmer wire the (org) loose and it should work if you ground the Brake wire to the ground (black wire)
.
I did a by pass for that, the DVD player has a protection sistem that like nels said needs to be connected to ground -12 Vcc rather than any thing else. Then you mau play anything while drive-ing. Note that in some parts of the world this mai be considered ilegal.
Would this be the VR3 4" lcd radio?

I am trying to use an SD card. I have close to 600 songs on the card but when I put it in the VRVD630 it only shows 131 songs. I made sure that all the songs are in MP3 or WMA format and I also can't get the title button to work so that I can choose a song so I have to go thru and let all the songs play until I find the one that I am looking for. Please help..
I put in any dvd, and it says "Wrong Region". Tried many dvd's with the same result.
What should I do?

Do not hook up the wire that says (backup light +) I think it is brown, you only need that wire if you use the backup camera.
Mine did the same thing, had a blue screen that said "Camera", i undid the wire & everything was fine
