Windows service pack 3 for Windows7

I have Windows 7 Ultimate with service pack 1 on my pc.But sometimes i need Service Pack 3 to install some games and softwares.Where i can download Windows Service Pack 3?

  • RevMarket Jul 03, 2016

There is no service pack three for Windows 7. If you're talking about the net framework that's a different thing. That comes from Windows updates. Should you be having trouble with Windows updates just let me know I can connect with team viewer and help you out.

Instead of further service packs like /w Windows Xp, MS focused on delivering scheduled updates.

Hi,
there is no such thing as "service pack 3 for Windows 7".

Windows Xp - sp1, sp2, sp3

Windows Vista - sp1, sp2

Windows 7 - sp1

Windows 8 - 8.1

Could you please tell me that you haven't installed the customization pack & that you have Windows 7?

What app were you trying to install?

What Does It Mean When Support for My Operating System Ends?

Microsoft Support for Windows Vista (with no service packs installed) ended on April 13, 2010, while support for Windows XP (without Service Pack 3 installed) ended on July 13, 2010. Windows 2000 support ended on July 13, 2010 as well.
There is no Service Pack 3 for the 64-bit version of Windows XP. If you're running the 64-bit version of Windows XP with SP2, you have the latest service pack and will continue to be eligible for support and receive updates until April 8, 2014.
If you are still running a version of Windows where support has ended, it means that version of Windows will no longer receive any updates from the Windows Update or Microsoft Update site. These updates are generally provided for security reasons to help protect the PC from harmful viruses, spyware, malware, and other malicious software. Windows Update also provides new drivers for your hardware that can improve the reliability of Windows.
Hackers love to take a security vulnerability in Windows and exploit it to their advantage. So, if a vulnerability is found in Windows XP or Windows Vista and you are not running the latest service pack, you will not be protected and will be at risk.

How Can I Tell What Service Pack is Installed?
Follow these steps to discover what Service Pack is installed:
1) Click on the Start Button
2) Right-click on either My Computer or Computer (depending on your Windows version)
3) Click on Properties
On this window, it should tell you which version of Windows along with which service pack is installed). It should also tell you whether you are running a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows.

Can windows 7 run GTA IV.

Hi,
Running GTA 4 on windows 7 should not be a problem. You just have to run the installer using compatibility mode. Right click on the "setup.exe" then choose Properties. Go to Compatibility tab and tick "run this program in compatibility mode for", choose windows xp sp 3. That should allow you to install GTA 4 on windows 7. Bear in mind that you have to install GfW Live and the C++ 2005 files seperately which can be found in the disk as well. More importantly, make sure that your computer meets the system requirements for the game.
Here it is: System Requirements
Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3 Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz Memory: 1.5GB, 16GB Free Hard Drive Space Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900
Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3 Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1Ghz Memory: 2 GB (Windows XP) 2.5 GB (Windows Vista) 18 GB Free Hard Drive Space Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870
After installing the game and you're not able to run it, Try running the main executable file of the game in compatibility mode as well.

Hope this helps.

My computer will not properly install Microsoft Windows XP service pack 3. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

You need to get an official service pack 3 from microsoft's website.

Follow this link (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=5B33B5A8-5E76-401F-BE08-1E1555D4F3D4&displaylang=en)
The file size is about 316 mb.

If you already have this file, service pack 3 will not install if your current version of windows has errors. That means you have to reinstall Windows XP, install your pc device drivers, then install windows xp service pack 3.

Pro tools m-powered problem

You may need to check to see which "service pack" you are currently on.

See below requirements:

System Software — Windows XP & Vista
  • Windows Vista Business or Ultimate Edition
    • 32-bit OS Installation Only
  • Windows XP Professional or Home Edition
    • With Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3

  • Not Supported:
    • Windows Vista 64-bit (any version)
    • Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
    • Windows XP Media Center Edition
    • Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT, 95, 3.1, DOS

  • Not Tested:
    • Windows Vista Home and Home Premium Edition
    • Although Windows Vista Home and Home Premium Edition have not been tested or qualified by Digidesign, there are currently no known issues with Vista Home and Home Premium 32-bit operating systems and Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4 compared to the supported Windows Vista Business or Ultimate Edition operating systems.

Windows Vista SP1
There are currently no known issues with Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista based on our initial limited testing and customer feedback. Although full qualification with all Digidesign products has not been completed, we do not recommend against updating to SP1, given the number of important overall system fixes in SP1. We do recommend that you backup your system and create a restore point before updating to SP1, should you encounter any problems after installing the update.
