Have SANYO COLOR TV - Model # DS27590 - trying to find the codes so I can program my GE universal to work with it.

try to check the web who makes sanyo, probably now panasonic. try panasonic codes-- only if all sanyo codes don't work. (just in case... make sure you follow the steps in the programming code. try to program another component such as a dvd to make sure you are doing the programming steps right just to be sure so as not to waste time in trying other codes.)

The codes listed by Sanyo for my TV won't work in my star Choice remote.
I tried 017 021 039 056 057 058 and 140 as listed by Sanyo.
Any ideas?

Try code 049 . It worked for my GE Universal remote.
