***Try this FIRST*** sometimes the icloud account may fail to connect to the Internet you can fix this by simply restarting your phone

a good way to check if you have facetime is to go to the settiings app and go to facetime panel there.
see if you are signed in and see how you can be reached (i have set up my mobile number and 2 mails where i can be reached by facetime)
in order for facetime to work the other person you are trying to contact must have facetime enabled (i.e. have iphone 4 or higher, have an icloud account ) a good way to test is to see if the person can be contacted through imessage
and make sure the person's phone number is listed as iphone in your contacts app
sometimes the iclod account may fail to connect to the Internet you can fix this by simply restart ing your phone

FaceTime on ipad

Time zone fixed this for me. I was having issues logging into Twitter account on iPad mini and directed me to set my time zone. Once I set the Time Zone to Set Automatically Twitter, iMessage and FaceTime worked.

Did the following:

Go to Privacy
Location Services
System Services
Turn on "Setting Time Zone"
Go to General
Select Date/Time
Turn on Time zone "set automatically"

My FaceTime does not alert me when there is a call

In the settings you can choose for every app, if it is allowed to use the message centre. With banners or sound. I think you did deselect FaceTime. Go there.

Find cell number for sim

You could try and look in 'General', 'Settings', 'FaceTime' which normally shows the number as option for being reached by FaceTime.
Else, put the sim in an iPhone and look under "Phone' (also in 'Settings'), which lists the number.

Just swipe down on the scene to search and type FaceTime.

Is really the message being showed is: "Check the connection."? I did not encounter that error in FaceTime. Did you already make a video call to other devices? I think internet speed contributes to your problem. If not, consider restarting the device. The error you are encountering can be just a bug in iOS 7.

To set birthdate tap settings,tap FaceTime and make sure set to on.Tap apple Id then view account.Enter apple Id password then enter.Under security info tap manage apple Id.Enter password again then signin.Tap password and security ,then answer both security questions then tap continue.At bottom edit birthdate then tap save.

Can anyone help with ipad mini crashing issue with farmville 2 country escape? Happens constantly! Hi. I am having serious problems playing Farmville 2 country escape on my ipad. I have tried EVERYTHING (force close, restart, playing offline) and all it does is crash constantly (most of the time it won't even connect all the way before it crashes so I play offline most of the time.) Even offline I have great difficulty in keeping any work that I have done due to crashing. I have no access to my co-op or market which is very frustrating trying to finish anything to win. I have to do 10 times more than other people to get the same results. I can literally spend hours doing nothing except relogging on where nothing gets saved on my farm. I would gladly play on another device (my daughter was even going to give me HER ipad mini but it just started another farm and I don't know what to do.) My phone is a samsung s3 I think. They say not to delete and reinstall this app. I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY FARM!!! What can I do??? Any help out there? Thank you so much!
