Hp 65 dlp.bulb and fan go on/off.other fan running.no pic no sound

Usually overheating or cheap bulbs made in China. $200 bulbs are better than $84 bulbs. Very old technology, time for an upgrade!

Fans are in the unit that cool the light bulb. The light gets very hot and the fans are needed. You might see if they need to be cleaned. Also note that if the unit is on and there is a power failure and the fans cant run, it could shorten the bulb life.

might need to change the bulb soon. Is it LED or a regular bulb?

If Fan behind Lamp is not running lamp will not come on,also CK blaster board.

check for popped or raised tops on caps in power supply. also try unplugging set for 5 minutes and resetting it. How about does your color wheel spin up? if your color wheel don't startup then your tv will also shut down. also check all fans they all should be running at turn on. if all fails i would say its your light engine.

I have a brand new L2114a lamp for sale. I paid 299 plus shipping on ebay but it turned out to be the wrong one (despite what the manual says). I ordered the correct one I needed from HP. I am willing to part with it for 200. I can send pictures of the lamp and the box and the reciept. This is a BRAND NEW LAMP.
