You need to replace the charger, the charger is stuck and doesnot move, or if you have tech experience to remove the clip that locks the charger.

I'd guess you have a paper jam, maybe even tiny piece.
Check error message on printer's panel. try turn off for 10min.
turn back on. Users manual on software install CD may help understand message.

Quite sure this is the main charger. Replacing it is best fix, but you must have heard this already.

if not working means reinstall the printer driver ..........

install the driver n check by replacing the u.s.b cable n switching it on different ports

at your printer options or your canon pixma, check your ports setting in his properties...
