SOURCE: What is the capacity (Size) of the Speed Queen Marathon Washer?

Pi,r,squared times height. Remember math back when we didn't have computers? So that's 3.14 x radius(half the distance across drum)squared(times itself) times height or depth of drum. Remember to do radius times itself first, then Pi, then height.

SOURCE: The soap dispenser in my

This is usually caused by a low water pressure problem.Water will take the path of least resistance and in this case the soapdispenser suffers. A couple of things to look for are.

  1. Check the water line screens and water valve screens. If these are plugged with debris it will lower your water pressure.
To check this remove the hot andcold fill hoses on the rear of the machine. Look inside of the water valve forand debris there is a screen on the valve to catch this. The machine also camewith inline water screens. Check to see if theses were installed and if theyare plugged and installed properly. These will be inside the fill hoseat either the machine end or the spigot end it depends on who installed them. The proper orientation of this screen is that the pointed end should be facingthe incoming water. 2. Check to see if you have goodwater pressure at the machine hose connections. This is easily done with awater pressure gauge. I purchased one at Home Depot for around $10.00. This ismuch less than a service call. Put the gauge on the water line and turn on thevalve. Then turn on any faucets or appliances that feed from the same line andsee what the pressure is. The installation manual that came with your machinewill have the water pressure spec on it.

Speed Queen top load washer fabric softener

Hi,

Please check that you added the softener to the correct compartment of your washer. Also, please read or re-read the instructions for adding the fabric softener. Once you've done those 2 things, please run a test wash with clothes that you would not particular care about potentially staining. Thank you.

Soap dispenser not working. The soap remains in the dispenser even after the cycle has finished.

Sounds as if the line is plugged. Old soap may have collected inside the line and dried up, preventing passage of new liquid to pass through. Call the Manufacturer and ask them how to clean out the line.

LG front loader problem

If you remove the top cover you will see the soap dispenser unit on the left. It has a large rubber hose connecting it to the drum. If you remove two screws at the front you can free the dispenser for maintenance. You can undo the clips on the various hoses and check that they are clean.

Some people report some dripping from the soap dispenser even when the hose is unblocked. This seems to be a design fault.
