It would be useful to have the model number, but here are some manuals. Some machine have no option for JUST a spin, you have to choose Rinse and Spin.
There are a number of reasons this could happen.
(1) If the items damaged are nylon or silk (very fine fabric )and the machine is on a fast spin they could be forced through the holes in the drum and get nicked by the heater as the drum turns.
Solution is don't put fine fabric on very fast spin programs.
(2) There could be a weak joint in the inner drum which opens out during fast spin or a heavy load. Test the inner drum by pushing down on the edges where the back meets the wall.
(3) Overloading the machine. Put less in
Hi dear,
I do not know what type or model of your washer but those LOGIXX series should have a INTENSIVE wash button. Make sure that button not active when you setting your program by default and you are not over loading your machine. You need to use specific program for specific wash load. Example: Let's say your machine has 7Kg dry weight wash capacity. That's indication for Cotton Fabric Only. Your machine able to wash 7Kg Cotton fabric but it can not able to wash 7Kg WOOL, Dedicates, Jeans etc. Refer your machine's user manual. I hope that helps. Thanks.
The e2 error is a generic error that the machine shows if it's been overloaded or if the load becomes unbalanced during a wash cycle.
To fix you must do a master reset of the washing machine.
1. Close the door and make sure the dial is pointing to the "OFF" function 2. Hold the Start/Pause button and turn the dial anti clockwise (to the left) to the "express 15 min" program at the same time. 3. Hold the Start/Pause button for a minute (the e2 message is meant to start flashing after a minute of holding the button down however with my washing machine this didn't happen) (and neither with mine) 4. Release the button and turn the dial back to the "Off" function. 5. Select any program and the message should not be appearing
Restart the machine and repeat the following procedure to reset the machine to original factory settings.
Enter the test program by:
1. Set the cycle knob to any "X" (reset) position
2. Press and hold the Pre-wash and the Start buttons at the same time.
While still holding these buttons, turn the unit on by pressing the
On/Off button
3. Keep holding the Pre-wash and the Start buttons until the digital display comes on (about 5 seconds)
The digital display will show 00 for no faults or will show a fault code.
To end the test program turn the washer off at any time.
Post the results.
The result would be a fault code which indicates the error. Will await your further comments.
I had the same problem and found the answer from Bosch technical support. Reset the indicator and machine by holding down the start button for about 12 seconds - worked for me.
I am hoping I have just fixed mine with same problem. Couple weeks ago started stopping at start of cycle with fast button flashing. Check filters so one on top of unside machine and one on tap if you have one on there. Mine were blocked but still wouldnt work. I pulled out machine to find a kink in the water pipe. I have straightened this out and up to now its working. Fast button flashing refers to water inlet problem.
the washing machine model "SAFW4205 EN"... A+...
