Hi, first check the spring that pulls on the idler pulley for lost tension then run the blades for a 10 to 15 minutes at half to full throttle. This is necessary to bed the new belt into the old pulleys. Regards Phil.

Have a craftsman mower just purchased riding how do I get the blades to work so can cut yard

if it is a newer model while on the seat there should be a yellow or red knob you pull out to turn on the blades they will not work in reverse(a safety thing)

Blades don't ingage

look and see if the belt came off the pulleys, it could be at the front pulley or at the rear pulleys. lower the deck all the way down and look.

Craftsman dlt2000 20 hp kohler runs great until i try to engage blades pull up on the switch to engage and motor bogs and stalls

Now is a great time to remove the deck and sharpen the blades! In the process, you will find your problem. Look for clogs, seized bearings, freely rotating belts, etc... The problem is in the deck or drive belt. Hope this helps!

When I pull the blade lever the blades do not turn. Found that the trottle wire to pto is broken. Need instructions and a diagram on how to fix it. Thanks

just wire it back together, you don't have to worry about crossing the wires up. because it's just a hot and ground for a coil to magnitize to ingage the pto clutch.
