Kpdl error 0098 - Kyocera Mita FS 1900 Laser Printer

are the drivers downloaded for the printer

from experience when ever I get a problem like this I generally delete the relevant driver and then reinstall it. check that the driver is compatible with your operating system. This is all I can suggest as it takes very little to corrupt a driver.

Try reset the error code.
Turn OFF the copier,press and keep pressed the Utility key turn ON the copier wait to display appaire the Trouble reset message.Release the Utility key,touch the message and turn OFF the copier.Wait 1 minutes and turn ON.

corrupt print data.
set the driver back to KPDL, make sure to uncheck the "allow data pass through" in the settings area, this makes a world of difference and ends up eliminating alot of print errors. It's been talked about in other threads on this site. I've talked to KM tech support about this setting and they don't really know what it is for

You most likely need the universal KPDL driver. There is also a KX driver. Installing both will not effect your system but... again you the KPDL is the most likely driver.

and kyocera own kpdl or kx
or even a mini driver

if all fails u might need to upgrade firmware on the printer

change the driver from kpdl to pcl xl, this is normal problem with pdf files. you do this from ur computer driver.

some files may be corrupt: Best is try to reinstall printer software with original drivers to ensure that correct files are installed.

Log into your pc as admin and under the driver properties change from kpdl to pcl5
Its a combo of a problem with adobe reader and the KPDL driver

See if this is set to pcl6, make take care of it.

6 Press the MENU key. The message display returns to Ready.
