How to remove error code from lg ref

You need to remove the freezer door and basket. then remove the rails on both sides. then there is a panel at the back of the freezer. Pull at the top part of the panel and it will come out.

I have found that my ice maker makes ice, but i can not dispense, water or ice, control board good, micro switch good only thing left is reversing solenoid. i have just ordered one once i replace it ill get back to you

You have awater problem not an icemaker problem...inlet valve bad or water source problem....

You have a ice fan motor problem. This fan motor is what feeds cold air to the icemaker. Try unplugging the refrigerator for a few minutes to reset the computer. Plug it back in and see if the error code stays off. If it returns, you will need to remove the ice fan motor from the freezer and see if ice has built up and blocked the air flow. The ice fan motor is located behind the back wall inside the freezer. You will have to remove the drawers and slide supports to remove the back wall. There are 2 fans behind the wall. The one on the left is the ice fan motor. Good luck.

IF YOU PULL OUT THE BOTTOM BIN IN THE REF YOU WILL FIND A COILED UP HOSE, THIS DOESNT HOLD MUCH, PLUS THEY RUN THE HOSE THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF THE REF WHERE ALL THE HEAT IS THEN UP THROUH THE DOOR, STILL NO COOLING THERE.
