Replace flyback lick

picture tube is bad

you need to replace the flyback its the 259296 flyback which is available at the following link and they send free instalation instructions with detailed photos on how to do the replacement of the flyback.

often the old flyback will cause CP150 and CP120 to dome on top when the old flyback goes out. Check the tops of those two capacitors for doming. They are located on the same board as the flyback.

your flyback should still be good get the other parts changed out and go from there

the flyback converter most lickly needs to be replaced (around $70.00 for part! Warning this is a high voltage part and should be done by a pro! I

The small wires are disconnected at the focus and screen control block, and the large HV cable is disconnected from the HV splitter.you may have to reuse the large red wire if the new flyback doesnt have the HV lead attached. The Hot is the horizontal output transistor its mounted to a aluminum heat sink near the flyback.

hi there, there is a part number of the flyback at the body of it and you can repalce it by telling to the store the number of the flyback transformer. ty

When you change the flyback and the HOT you are supose to replace a small capacitor that came with the flyback and also the small coil l401 that connects the hot base to the horiz. driver transformer secondary is supose to be taken out, the leads scrapped off of insulation and resoldered into place.
