It's probably cause your disc is scratched. All you gotta do is wipe it with a cloth. No water! If it does not work then you're out of luck

If you are getting an error stating A toy on the Portal of Power has a problem, follow these steps to reset your broken toy.

Skylanders SWAP Force

1. With the toy on the Portal, select Pause.
2. Select Skylander.
3. Select Manage.
4. Select Reset. If you are resetting a swappable toy, you must reset both the Top and the Bottom separately.

Skylanders Giants

1. Keep the broken Skylanders toy on the Portal of Power and open the Pause Menu.
2. Return to the Main Menu.
3. Open Settings.
4. Select General.
5. Select Reset Broken Toys.
6. Select Yes when you are asked to reset the Skylanders toy.
7. Repeat Steps 5 and 6.
8. Keep the reset Skylanders toy on the Portal of Power and start a game in Story Mode.

Your Skylanders toy will now work again.

If the screen turns black after returning to the game, try again starting with Step 1.

If the game won't load and you are only seeing an icon on the screen, remove the Skylanders toy from the Portal of Power, put it back on the portal, and try again starting with Step 1.

Not a answer but I will try to help. Who ever your got your modded Wii from they should be able to update it.

Have to capture voltron torch and amulet for more power .

Delete everything and do a clean re install

if you're running into a freeze on your PS3, just let us know which Skylander you're using, along with when the freeze occurs for you.
If you can, try disconnecting your PS3 from the internet when it freezes then reconnect

Are batteries in the portal, is it synced with the console. To sync remove battery cover and SD card cover on the Wii press the two red buttons at the same time they are now wirelessly connected.
