Distorted sound Now I have purchased this headset cause it was looking good price wise. In the description, it read this has 50 mm Nedoymium drivers delivering deep powerful bass. Which I didn't get. I am not expecting this from a music point of view. When I hear explosions, I wanna just hear explosions with LOUD BASS. I am thinking these might be faulty and would replace them. But, if this problem is more universal, I would like to try a solution for that first. Thanks in advance!

Never used them, but distorted outputs indicates you are over-driving them, connected them to 'speaker out' rather than 'headphone out', Or you have already blown the drivers. Connect to a different sound source and see how they work then. You likely will not get a loud boom from any headset.

SOURCE: help! no bass sound, low volume

You might want to try using a different size of the earpieces that come with it, and make sure they're inserted fully into your ear. They come with three different size earpieces because people's ears are shaped differently, and having the right size can make a HUGE difference in the sound. If it's done right, it should basically feel like you've just inserted an earplug into your ear.

If that doesn't help, and you've tried another pair of headphones to verify that it's not a problem with your sound source, I would guess you were unlucky enough to get a defective pair.

Do you get a good sound from your PC using other headphone? Mean, are you sure you don't have a problem with your PC's audio card?

Sounds (sorry) more like a PC/Laptop/player problem to me. Headsets like these don't usually just fail in this way.

How do I replace ear buds on electronics 520?

There are no replacement earbuds for Plantronics Voyager 520. You would need to replace the headset if the earbuds are making it uncomfortable enough that the headset is unusable. Link to Headsets Direct Bluetooth Headsets is included below.

Change sepertine belt on engine.

it is not that fun, you need to have 1/4 inch tools, 10mm socket 8mm socket, 12 mm socket,18mm socket. and wrenches to match. you need to support car on jack stands and remove pass tire. Go to your local auto parts store and get a manual first. as the valve timing is very critical in the installation process !!!!!!!!!!! if this timing is not done exactly you will cause severe engine damage to valves and pistons. read manual and read again then assemble it right the first time as there is no room for error. Belt is 30 -50 $$$ depending where you go.

Hello, I have a Packard Bell EasyNote laptop using Windows Vista. Listening to CDs and Videos was great. Then I purchased a headset with microphone and discovered that I needed to change some settings...

Hi,

There are no settings required to use a headset unless it is a one which plugs into the USB port.

To use the standard 3.5mm jack headset you just need to plug the jacks into same colored ports on the laptop.

The cause for distortion is definitely something else. If you can, copy or rip a song/video to your harddrive and play it from there. Notice any difference.

To suggest any solution I would like to know what steps you have already taken to resolve this issue.

Disk read error-Verifying DMI Pool data... My

hello, Acer T180 comes with a SATA drive which are very reasonable priced these days. I think your system came with a 160GB hard drive (less than $50), you can probably get a 500GB for $50 bucks now.
here is a link to newegg for sata internal drive many of them free shiping for holiday season.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=internal+hard+drive+sata

you may come across few terms like "bare drive", "OEM", then there are regular ones. "bare drive" doens't come with wires(sata data & power connector), same with OEM- no wires, keep in mind OEM is genrally for resellers but i don't think anyone cares (:-) ).. since you are replacing the drive you have you can get by with any or these types. bare drive & OEM tend to be bit cheaper in price.

hope this helps

good Luck

Sennheiser MM 50 iPhone Mic & Button does not work

I had just the same problem and if you're lucky, the solution is very simple: due to the open headset-plug of the iPhone I had a lot of dust inside. Just try (carefully!) to get the dirt out of the jack with a pair of tweezers or a strong vacuum cleaner. In my case it solved the problem. Good luck!

Display screen says protected

By your description it looks like an internal protection has tripped. The reset will not work if the unit is fried. Did this happen when you were pushing the unit really hard or distorting it? You may have to have it repaired, or replace it. Repairs can sometimes take a couple of months so be wary of this.

Sound distortion

I too had this problem. I fixed it by removing a Audio driver from K-lite codec pack. I just uninstalled the whole pack from add remove programs and the headphones work fine now.
