It needs to go to the shop, but be sure to get an estimate first. It may be more cost effective the replace rather than repair.

I need a operator manual for a lonestar sk-104 karaoke manchine

I have the same one. and I have had another model also.they are almost the same.If I am correct it is a cassette karaoke player. They take a special cassette that says lonestar super K.these players and tapes were from the 1992-1994.when you hook to the tv, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4.the back of the machine should have a switch with 3 &4.make sure both are on the same.on newer tv you may have to figure out the input & output.some say video some say line 1 line 2 etc.my machine uses a cable cord from tv to machine.any tape will play in them ,but only the special ones will put words on the tv. if you use the special tape when you put it in the machine only one side plays.it tells you on the tape.also only one side of the duel cassette compartment will put words on screen.my sk104 is side B.Hope this helps.if you still cant get on screen words,it could be that part of the machine just doesn't work anymore.that is what happened to my other one.

I have the peavey 8600 and l was doing karaoke at my bar last nightwhen something weird happend. i plug my karaoke eqpment into the last channel at the rca in and last night that channel lost half its...

Iis ALL your equipment powered from the same receptacle? It had better be... ground bounce can destroy input circuits in these units. I don't have the schematic but a common problem where XLR connectors go into a mixer is they have radio-frequency noise suppression caps to ground from each side of the XLR input. These caps are often lower voltage rating and can be popped by ground bounce or ungrounded equipment being connected before the ground connection is made. When one goes, there is loss of half the voltage or 6 Db of power gain. Since these RCA's are right at the XLR they MAY connect and have these caps and one may have shorted. That means the repair shop I am afraid unless you are adept at electronics. Most of these mixers are a pain to work on that area as all the knobs and screws have to come out/off to get the circuit board away from the panel to work on... I wish I had the service manual to give you more info...

PLEASE in the future power all equipment from the same receptacle or power source AND for units that don't have three wire power cord, NEVER change cables that can break the ground connection such as the RCA cables while power is on to any of the equipment. This will save repair bills...

It wont turn on and starty working iv changed the batterys what else can i do ?

Check battery direction. Also if the unit can use a power adapter, sometimes the contact in the connector for the adapter that connects the battery when the adapter plug is out fails to contact and connect the battery.

What store can I go to find a cd plus g for my Karaoke machine

Many stores that have a display of CD titles will have a SMALL section of Karaoke cd's including stores like Sam's, Walmart, and Costco... The section OFTEN is small and sometimes right in the middle of regular CD's... ask for help from the salesperson to find the section.

How to turn off vocal on Emerson GM527 so that we can only hear the music and sing along.

Note that you MUST use the special Karaoke disks to be able to remove the vocal... it will not do it for plain music CD's. Those devices that CLAIM to remove vocals often do so poorly... they do it by subtracting the left and right channels which ASSUMES the lead vocal is centered between the channels... Those methods don't work very well...

What cord do you need to plug the ipod into the karaoke machine

This depends on the karaoke machine in question. Mostly the Ipod accepts a 3mm earphone jack and the karaoke is supposed to support the regular av in 2 pin jack. so all you need to do is get the single 3mm headphone jack to 2 pin av in jack. that should work perfectly.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

We are trying to use the Karaoke Machine and the words don't display. And we don't see any audio input to connect the ipod.

You would connect the IPOD to the RCA jacks on the back, HOWEVER the audio through there cannot be used for Karaoke. Te only other possibility is to mix the stereo channels of the IPOD and run them into one of the MIC inputs.

To get words, you must buy special Karaoke CD's that have the music and the lyrics. Search for sellers of the disks using Google.

Does this Karaoke Mixing Amp have voice cancel

The short answer is NO, it does not... BUT you should understand what MOST voice cancellers do. ESSENTIALLY they ASSUME that the vocalist is centered betweeen the stereo recording mics. The "voice cancellor" merely subtracts the left and right signal which REDUCES the voice from the center of the stage. Frankly, it doesn't work all that well. Somee typicall leaks through and often is garbled.
For Karaoke you best stay with media that already has vocals stripped from it.
