Type the two words you see in the image and enter your e-mail address and press Continue. Then wait for the reset confirmation on your e-mail inbox. Once it arrived open the mail and click the link.

If the mail is not in the inbox, check your spam and junk filters.

Hi there,

The only way you can delete an account is by logging in to Facebook, click on the "Account" tab (a drop-down menu will appear) and then click on "My Account", once the page is fully loaded, scroll down to the bottom of the page and the last section offered to you is "Deactivate Account" and then click "Deactivate".

You do not necessarily need to deactivate you account. Firstly, you should contact Facebook and ask them to reset your password or reset it yourself by clicking HERE and following the instructions given t you there.

If Facebook deactivated your account, you will not be able to log in and therefore you will not be able to deactivate it, but, if Facebook blocked your account, you do not even need to worry about deactivating it because they would have already done that for you and it would have been removed from your friends profiles as well.

Alternatively you can just create a new account using the same name and details as your last account (except email address, this will need to be different to your last account) and then go and re-invite all your friends.

You need to wait ~24 hours to attempt logging back into your account. Due to security measures, Facebook restricts the number of login attempts.
