There are several methods to put ringtones to your iPhone without iTunes:
Method 1: Put custom ringtones to iPhone via GarageBand. Transfer your desired music from streaming platforms or cloud servers to GarageBand. Then apply it to ringtone after trimming it.

Method 2: Purchase directly on iTunes store. Or redownload purchsed ringtones via same Apple ID.

Method 3: Transfer downloaded ringtones from computer to iPhone directly. Make sure the downloaded ringtones are in m4r format. If not, you can modify them directly before transferring.

It's very convenient to transfer ringtones to iPhone via iTunes. If you don't want to use that, you'll need an alternative. I'll recommend you this iTransfer tool. It can be helpful for the data transfers of iPhone, iPad and iPod among iOS devices, iTunes and PCs.

  1. Run the iTransfer after installing it on your computer. The software will indicate that it's now safe to connect the iOS devices. Then connect your iPhone to computer with the USB cable. It'll automatically detect the device, and then show the libraries of your iPhone in the left sidebar.
  2. You are allowed to drag and drop the ringtones into the window of the software to start the transfer. Or you can click "File" at the upper right corner and then choose "Add > Add File/Add Folder" to add ringtones from computer.
  3. The ringtone transfer starts immediately after choosing files. The dialog of transfer process will pop up, and the progress bar will show the percentage of the transfer process. After the transfer, the ringtones will show up in your iPhone.

How do I lengthen the amount of time the phone rings on an incoming call?

This is not specific for the iPhone. It has everything to do with your provider. He decides when a call is put to a voicemail or when it is stopped. But most of the time you can change the time yourself, but please check your mobile phone provider how to do so.

How do i use a ringtone from i tunes

You have to use itunes to turn it into a ringtone. You can either pay itunes the fee to do so, and then it will transfer to your phone, or you can search the apps for "ringtone maker" and get an app that will allow you to crop any of your songs into a ringtone. It will be available on itunes next time you connect your iphone to Itunes.

First make sure they are M4r files and not standard mp3.
Secondly you can put them anywhere. You just have to go in to iTunes, go to the Ringtones tab on your iPhone and then add the folder to be synced.

My DVDXCOPY Platinum will not activate after inputing the License ID# and Password. Can anyone help please?

DVDXCOPY has been shut down for many years, their are a few people still selling it knowing it can't be activated. Their were a few sites that carried activation codes that worked. In all reality its not a very good program, I started out using it and switched to DVDFAB Platinum and haven't found anything it wouldn't copy, it also shrinks long movies to fit on a 4.7 DVD.
