Well, the problem is small,,first check with a different set of batteries on the keyboard, after tats done, press the connect button the wireless receiver and after 5 sec on the connect button on the keyboard,if the connection to the mouse gets disrupted then press the connect button on the mouse.the last step u can try changigng the usb port of the receiver,,,i beleive there is no other troubleshooting steps to this issue,,if still no go,,call up tech support and replace the whole set

best of luck,,keep me posted ,giv a good rating

Hp pavilion a1710n doesn't send to printer. Goes through every step, doesnt send. My laptop workds with the printer.

A few things come to mind. Are you sure the printer isn't a D4160??? The C4160 was sold in England. Anyways...

First, when you hit print a box opens up. On the top of that box make sure your printer is the one selected. It will have a green checkmark by it.

Second. Make sure the USB cable is connected between computer and printer. The Hp pavilion a1710n doesn't have a wireless network chip so it will need the USB cable connected for it to print.

I assume your laptop prints wirelessly and that is why it works and the HP does not.

Good Luck

Keyboard doesnt work at all, its wireless

Install the driver for that wireless keyboard and try again.
if it won't, then chage the battery on the Keyboard.
again if it won't then the issue might be with the Keyboard hardware.

The symbols above the numbers on my keyboard just stopped working. Would this be a hardware problem or a technical one. I am using someone else's computer to send this message as I am unable to get into my...

Hi, I'm guessing you have tried using both the left shift and the right shift?.
if one works and the other doesnt I'd say the keyboards stuffed.

If its a funky multimedia keyboard there perhaps may be some key/button to enable/disable shift and or special characters, but I have never seen a keyboard like that.

Do all the numbers and alpha characters work, its just to sybols about 1 to 10?.

This is a wireless keyboard?
Maybe reset the keyboard, normally the base unit and the bottom of the kboard and mouse have a reset/reconnect button, worth a try but I suspect it wont help.
Trying new batteries probably wont help either but probably worth a try.

Failing that, I'd plug in an old usb/ps2 keyboard into your pc and see if that works OK (you'll need to reboot first if its a ps2 keyboard), just to rule out any strange software issues.

All that said however, I suspect you may be looking at a new keyboard.
I do think its worth trying the above first though.
Good luck.

Hp Pavilion dv1000 laptop wireless connection doesnt always work? Sometimes it shows that a connection is available but it wont connect. Sometimes it works fine but drops out right in the middle of what...

you might have to review the driver version of your wireless. try to check if there are updates that might fixed the bug. go to my computer, right click, manage, device manager, network adapters - under it move your mouse on top of the wireless, right click, properties, driver and check driver version and date. then go to your hp pavilion product support http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/ProductList.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=432999&taskId=135
and look for new version of network wireless driver might have. let me know if this doesnt fix the problem.

HP Pavilion zv6000 Notebook PC keyboard replaced

Probably the keyboard you got is defective. I have seen buttons working in very bad conditions. When a key doesnt work or several is bad news.

Try to get a replacement. Since you have already reseated this simply check if the flex cable is properly locked, (ear plugs or similar) and not moving.
