Google play When I go to redeem my gift card it will not except my name and postal code

Go to Accounts & Lists
Go to Gift Cards
Go to Add Gift Card
Enter your Card Information
It will show your cards balance
When you purchase an item, select Gift Card as payment method

the back of the gift card will have all the shops that will redeem the card
if it only the one shop as on the front of the card , that is the only place you can use it
