Looks like you do not have the latest version of directx..Also make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card..If it still doesn't work then create a desktop shortcut for the game right-click it->Select Properties->In target box->add -opengl suffix. Ex:If it shows "C:\Program FIles\Wow.exe" then you should make it "C:\Program Files\Wow.exe" -opengl Dont forget to leave a space between " and - Happy gaming!

It is the direct X 3D files not compatable on your computer. The best solution is to get a new Nvidia graphics card as normally by updating the direct x wont help much and also may cause instability if it is not a compatable version with your computer.

Since windows 7 you cant Host a game anymore! The only chance to host and play Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe under Windows 7 is to install VMWare Player and then install WinXP on it (VERY EASY AND FAST, you need a WinXP CD or a ISO file). Then you have to activate Direct3D under the settings of VMWare and it installs automatically VMWare Tools. After this you can install H&D Deluxe on the VM and play the game in full resolution and full speed (fps) without any error!
This helps if you have problems with hosting a game under Win7 with these errors:
Hosten einer Sitzung fehlgeschlagen failed to initialize network connection
make sure there is the directx is installled and updated...
(you can install it from internet..)
also make sure your pc has graphics requirements for the game...
make sure the directx driver is active in device manager..
This is a DirectX or Graphics card problem. Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed on your computer. If this doesn't help, then your graphics card isn't supported by the game you want to play. Sorry :(
hi there is a problem with sony server at the mo lots of errors and cant get on to online play , think they are trying to fix it , ..just have to wait , your not alone
is it the first time that you will play linage 2? if yes, try to check if your video card is directx 8 compatible... make sure you have a geforce 6 series or higher video card to play the game. Also make sure that you have the latest video card drivers... update your video card installation. If you have no video card at all and you are running internal graphics chip. You may not be able to play the game. Get yourself at least a Geforce 6 series card. I sure hope this helps
Marines Shouting is an ancient and venerable game! It sounds like you might try rightclicking on the game icon and use Run As, running it as an older WinXP DirectX game. DirectX comes as part of WinXP, so as long as you are running that OS or later, or Wine and Crossover in Linux, you should be fine. Otherwise you needed to do more planning ahead.
Firefox is a pretty good game in itself, is it not? There is a good typing tutor game plugin which you might enjoy updating for Firefox 3.
