I have changed my outgoing voicemail message on my new lg vu, but for some reason no one can leave me a voicemail because it still says "user has not set up their mailbox" Also,the prompts aren't very easy to understand, especially if one of them is telling me how to turn on my outgoing voicemail message.

U need to get outgoing & incomming server from ur mail account e.g if u hav ur account in yahoomail u can get it from yahoo site

Call customer service something odd is happening you don't need to re-set up voicemail moving your SIM from one phone to another. If the phone is one not from your carrier it might not be programmed for your carrier's number when you press and hold 1 to dial voicemail

I had the same problem with my LG 600G. The problem was the preprogramed voice mail # on the phone might be incorrect. You will need to call Tracfone and get the correct # for your area.

Is it "blocked" or "full"? If it's full, then you have no choice but to delete some of the existing messages you have kept.
Both saved "Sent" messages as well as "Received" messages will fill up the message memory, so it helps to do some management in both areas, and clear out old messages so you'll have room for the new ones.

call your phone from another phone and leave yourself a new message, then go in and delete that message, it worked for me
