My SGT is brand new, only a week old and it has aldready crashed. I can't access it at all, the screen lock won't react and it's been hung up like that for over an hour now. I was listening to...

First put the charger plug in the Tab, I just tried mine that was sitting on the desk, even though I held the power on button for a long time it would not start. I pluged the charger in so the red charging light is on Tried to start and it worked perfectly. i.e. the voltage level is very critical, if it is a fraction low it won't start.

I have been trying to turn on my galaxy tab but it just wont turn on. I have tried charging it for a full day but still nothing. i dont even know if it is charging.

Most likely that it's faulty. Sometimes it takes awhile before it charges itself, specially it you drained. But if you left it plugged in for a day and still nothing happened then I think it's gone dead.

Try the following though and see if it helps.

1. Press and hold the power for about 10-15 seconds. or
2. Press and hold the power and the Volume up or Volume down at the same time for about 10-15 seconds.

If nothing happens then I suggest you send your tab for a repair.

Hope it helps.
