This washer/dryer has performed flawlessly for 12 years but today the program timer dial has stopped advancing - the machine keeps going in the same part of the cycle so the rest works fine but doesnt advance the program.
I'm a bit confused you posted under Bosch but you specify Indesit, which is a UK machine. The really bad news is you need to replace the timer. the really really bad news is you can only buy the timers from Indesit, I can't find them anywhere in the US. The really really really bad news is they want 117.99 british pounds for them! plus shipping and handling. Here is a link to the Indesit site where you can purchase one.

If you have the bosch machine, you can go to the nearest appliance service station and buy a timer for about $50 bucks. Are you located in the US? If so how did you end up with an Indesit machine? I haven't come across one....
No problem if my post helped would you be so kind as to give me a rating, have a great time down there, I have a sister who used to live in Adelaide, now over in NZed, on Whaiheke Island. She has the LG machine and I was able to get parts easily last time I was 'down under'. Seems to be a very well built unit.

Yeah, sorry, I did a search for indesit and ended up here - it wasnt until I'd posted that I realised I was on the Bosch forum - doh. Thanks for the info - I figured as much and the bigger problem is that I'm in Australia - the machine came with us from the UK in 2000. At that price its looking like it may not be worth repairing it, particularly given its age. Thanks very much for following this up for me.
