Toyota Avalon JBL Speaker Subwoofer Foam Repair 86160-AC180 .... Luckily you don't have to remove the rear deck to get at the subwoofer, ...
Probably not, but you could make it into a passive subwoofer by disconencting its internal amp and powewring the driver directly by an external amp being fed by an LFE channel.
The subwoofer is blown. There is not a repair, or repair service that can repair it. You can attempt to reassemble with 2 part epoxy - but it will not likely hold very long.
Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.
the long answer is you could try contacting the mfg of the sub and see if you can order a new foam ring, cone and voice coil to replace the one you will have to destroy to take it out.
Might be a power supply for the amp. Are you handy with a VOM? You can check the power supply output pretty easily. If not, some local electronics repair guys will diagnose / estimate repairs for free .. especially if you already have the unit apart (just did that very thing myself). Then you can make the choice of repair / replace.
