Utility counter, details stop00 stop01. Counters. Has the drum been replaced? if not you reset the counter the machine will assume that a new drum is install and select the proper voltages for a new drum since the drum is not new? it might code and get poor image quality issues. Replace the developer with the drum. Machine uses the counters to determine setting in the machine, developer also has a counter. Does the front panel say replace PC drum? If so replace developer and drum and cleaning blade at the same time. You clear counters before pulling out the image unit. and you don't exit all the way out of service mode after clearing the counters you hit exit once the turn off main power, Rear left side. Once new drum and developer installed. RUN F8. Do not allow copies Prints or fax until F8 is run. Or start all over again.

Minolta bizhub 164 code m2

press the Utility button,
then Stop 0 0 Stop 0 1

then scroll to Clear Data, and then Supplies Data and clear.

You must be aware that clearing this counter clears the drum, developer and other counters.

Which are very important for copy quality, and not replacing them may cause more harm than good.

Devloper reset code

Has the developer been replaced? If not reset code for developer without replacing the developer is not good. Because the copier works based on the counters. If you reset the counter with out replacing the require item the copier will adjust certain voltages to certain items such as the drum and developer system as those there are new because you reset the counters when in fact he developer is old and so mite be the drum which can cause codes and image problems. If the developer was replaced where the counters cleared and was the required F8 checked run?

HOW CAN I REMOVE C2557 ERROR CODE FOR MY BIZHUB 350

Have you had the developer and drum replaced or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? . Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure and make sure the counters where cleared Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer. IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. Copier works on the counters that how it know it got a new drum and developer. Get new develop and new drum and have it installed correctly, Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE AVACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you start over with new developer and new drum

MAINTANANCE M2 MINOLTA BIZHUB 163

Need to have the drum and developer and cleaning blade replaced, then have that M2 counter reset. Resetting the counter with out replacing the drum developer and cleaning blade will cause codes and image problems. Machine uses the counters to determine voltages for certain assy. If you clear the counter and not replace the parts the machine adjust voltages for the drum and developer assuming it new when in reality it is old.

CLEAR DRUM UNIT COUNTER IN BIZHUB 200

Service mode, but if you clear the counter without replacing the drum image problems and code can appear on the machine. Machine bases certain voltages on certain assy's. for example drum and developer based on what the counter says because that is the only way the copier knows it got a new drum and or developer..
