Doesn't go past warmup.

The printer (Ricoh Aficio CL7100) says it's warming up, but doesn't make any sounds like it normally does, and doesn't get past saying warming up.

There is no error message, it just says Warming Up....

And turning it off and unplugging it doesn't help either.

I'm having trouble understanding you. Could you try asking it again?

  • cgieson May 22, 2009

    Thank you.

The fuser is not hot, took it out, the printer recognized it wasn't there, but nothing changed when put it all back. Even tried turning it off and back on, and still same problem.

How to get borderless printing on a CL7100

Laser printers are unable to print all the way to the edges of the paper because of the excess toner dust that will fall off into the printer unit. The only way to get true full bleed laser prints is to use a larger paper size and then cut the edges off.
