This did clear all of the contacts and personal information. Still shows the phone number when you turn on the phone. This phone number was transferred to a new carrier and I dont want the number out for strangers to call.

if that doesn't work, it may be that the phone remembers what number was on it last, and that won't change until it's activated again. you might check with your former carrier... Sorry nothing's worked so far.if that doesn't work, it may be that the phone remembers what number was on it last, and that won't change until it's activated again. you might check with your former carrier... to perform a master reset, please contact the manufacturer for further assistance. their website might tell you how to do it if not their 800 number is listed on nthe site
try all the defaults the last four digits of the phone number last programmed to the phone then standards defaults for all phones are 9999,1234,4321,0000,1111 if none are successful you will have to hook the phone to a charging station which is at the verizon wireless store I do believe they still have the software if they dont they will need to replace the phone either by upgrade to a verizon phone (two year contract) or activating an old phone you own or bought online elsewhere or got from a friend etc. or insuarnce claim which is fifty bucks and they give you the same model i have to say of all the razors thats the good one so if you do go with insuarnace i wouldnt accept anything else they might throw at you as comparible its not
the only cure other than flashing it is to take battery out. lay it up
for 4-5 days and when you put battery back in. if it working you need
to do a master clear in phone.try to find an old sim card to do this
because you will lose all contacts if you dont. make sure contacts are
all stored to sim then go into settings then initial setup go up one to
master clear it will ask for security code enter 6-0's (000000). it
will say this will delete this, this, this and this do you want to
continue (you select yes) and wait phone will reboot itself and should
work fine after that.
