That's the problem with windows 7, it has plenty of driver issues
because all the manufacturers of components such as cameras don't have
them. Get online
and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "eMachine
Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support).
Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating
system when requested. Download and install the Webcam drivers. Try using ManyCam.
You can always download Manycam and install it. Go to
www.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"
(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the
site opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says Find
Software. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white
search area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your results
look for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and
install it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs it
would like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additions
whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,
and you will always know where your webcam software is.
Did you try eMachine's website or the manufacturer of the camera's website?
Testimonial: "I downloaded directly from emacihines support site, (my computer model and camera type driver). Still didn't work. I downloaded Yawcam software. Works fine but looks kinda "trashy" to me, so i'm gonna listen to your advice and try with ManyCam. Thank you very much for your help. Best regards :) Ivana "
