SOURCE: how to repair back wheel
See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9YK3ewvteI on adjusting the cable.
You can take apart both units and clean the insides as per the other person's comment on you tube - just take note of how it was put together.
I have taken the red brake pedal side of mine apart and the brake is working better now the inside is better but now having trouble attaching it to the frame again (can't get it lined up and screwed on without it slipping).
I'm now looking for instructions on how to get it back on. I have a 2006/2007 model like the one pictured above. Any help would be appreciated

Good Afternoon
Quinny never recommend the use of WD40 on the products. It does state on the WD40 can that it is not suitable for use with plastic products as it may cause premature degradation of the parts, and Quinny products are made with a combination of metal and plastic componants. Cleaning should always be done with warm soapy water for extreme conditions such as mud or sand removal, then the wheel thoroughly dried. For everyday cleaning, it should be done with furniture polish or dry Teflon spray (found in the laundry aisle of larger supermarkets) and a soft clean cloth to keep the wheel performing properly. Full guidelines on thorough cleaning of the front wheel unit can be seen on the Facebook page for Dorel UK Customer Services.
