Anytime anything electronic gets wet, the first thing to do is remove the battery, electricity and water don't mix, it'll corrode the circuits inside, then let the gadget dry out completely, putting it somewhere warm is good, it might take a few days, if you can get your hands on some fresh dessicant packs (you know, those little "do not eat" packets you get in electronics and cameras and such now and then) they might help dry out the phone if you put them and it in a ziplock bag for a couple days.

if the circuits inside aren't corroded from having electricity on while wet, then the phone may be fine after it's dried out.

good luck.

I dropped my net ten phone in a small puddle of water the screen was already cracked now it wont unlock

Water and electronics are a fatal combination. You can try to keep it inside the house where it's warm and dry and maybe after a few days or a couple weeks it might come back for you, but I think it's time to get a new phone, Peter.

How to take apart the LG Versa to dry out moisture behind the touch screen. It went through the washing machine, appears to work otherwise though

I would not try and remove any backing or covers off cell phones. I dropped my cell in the lake a couple of years ago. I took the battery out and laid the phoone and battery on my dash for a couple of days and this baked out all the moisture. the phone still works today!!

Screens won't turn on

Although the water sticker is white - it is possible that the unit got some water through the front. The sticker would turn red if it was dropped in a puddle, not if some water spilled on device when you had it open, say at the dinner table.

Since both screens wont turn on - either the connection from the PCBoard to the screens has frayed - or there was some moisture that entered the unit. Either way - it's not an easy fix. You may need to get a new phone.

Dropped phone in puddle only screen is broken PLEASE HELP MEE!!!!

Unfortunately, I would suggest you not trying to fix this. The reason is once water gets inside, any of the parts that got wet will eventually corrode. It might work a day, a week, I actually had my phone work 2 months, then it will stop. You could replace the screen and have it work right away, but nobody could gaurantee that it will continue.

I would say it's either your screen or the flex cable that is gone. You need to get it to a qualified repair tech to deal with this issue. These motorola v220 phones are nice little phones but very troublesome.

Phone does not work properly

There is some pieces on the board inside your phone you broke off when you dropped it. It will need to be fixed by a technician. Hopefully you didnt brake the flex cable. Have them check the cable before doing anything else.

Phone won't turn on/charge

Kikimenor: Advise. If this is your 3rd RAZR V3, you must encourage Cingular (Now is the new AT&T) to replace your whole unit with another model. A friend of mine exchange his phone 4 times, until Cingular replace it. Motorola had too many problems with RAZR phones and that's why they launch quickly the SLVR L7. They still producing the RAZR, because users love the style and shape of the phone, but reality is that Motorola had several heavy issues with RAZR (Bluetooth, batt, microphone, etc.) If you're paying for an insurance on your unit, encourage them to replace it. Razr wont charge

It's really sad that u r on a boat because i suggest u may need to get a desk top charger for your phone. Most times these unable to charge problems comes mostly from water damage or your phone been plugged in to the wrong voltage. Sam !

If you have a dead screen: You must Disconnect the ribbon cable between main case and LCD screen. be carefull lifting the connector and put it back in place. To reach the ribbon cable, you have to disassembly the phone. Google search with 'Motorola V220 Full Housing Installation' for a detailed procedure with pictures. attention: It may void any waranty!!
