Dec 30, 2008 - In my case, the monitor was fine for the first two months. But then started making a buzzing noise... 1) when on, 2) worse when .... my Samsung TV ismaking high pitched noises even if its turned off. I will NEVER EVER EVER ...
pull the light assembly out clean it with a vacuum and some pressurized air spray and place it back in the TV, while it is out check the fans on either the inside or in the removable assembly for damage or other interference in operation...If this doent help dissemble/remove the rear of the enclosure ( 6-10 screws) and clean the insides carefully and then turn the tv on - being careful not to be touching ANYthing and see if you locate the culprit.....
This tv have a colors wheel design in it to this tv.The buzzing noises and the colors are all screwed up because the colors wheel is worn out and spinning off of is axis and rubbing it against the wall of it hall of the steal box frame that hold the colors wheel itself.Don't attemp change the colors wheel by ur self,if u have no mechanical skills.Bacause the colors wheel itself sit way back of the tv,have to take out many mechanicals parts, before can come to the colors wheel itself to replace it.Because u will regret it later if u putting the colors wheel itself in wrong.Hire a tv repair person to replace it.
I purchased a poloroid tv 3732 in may of 2005 from circuit city, after about 14 months the set began making a clacking sound and humming sound that gets so loud it is unbareable. I have to turn the set off. I have found out I am not the only one with this problem that has a poloroid tv. I had a technician at my home that told me there is a service warranty on these sets because the wrong part was used and the part needs to be replaced.
