Button does not work

Hi, I have a kodak easyshare m1033. I fully charged the battery and turned on the camera. The buttons on the camera does not work. The review button, menu button, trash button, zoom in and out button does not work. I was able to take one picture when I turned on the camera. After the first picture, no button work. I cannot take another picture. I have substituted another memory card into the camera and it does the same thing. the buttons do not work

All of the buttons except the on/off button are not working. The mode button, the flash button, the zoom in/out buttton, the review button, menu button, and trash button do not work. I tried the advice but does not work. This has not happened to me before. I was able to use the buttons without holding a button down and user knobs simultaneously. thanks for the advice.

Hi
Some of those buttons work in combination with the two dials (i.e., setting ISO and white balance, etc.). Hold a buttin down and user the knobs simoultaneously.
If this is not the issue, please describe specifically which buttons are not workin...

    hi
Try resetting the camera back to the factory default setting.

Remove the battery, leave it for 1/2 + hour, insert the battery and configure date time etc.

If it doesn't work then you have faulty camera.

    thank u

Hi there please follow the steps and let me know the result.
1. Ensure batteries are fully charged & clean the battery connector point in side the battery compartment.
2. Look carefully between the lens and the camera body for any sand, dirt or any damaged etc.
3. Try turning the camera with the lens facing down and shake to dislodge anything stuck
4. Try removing batteries and memory card, wait 5 minutes and refit the battery only.
5. Now turn on camera( with out card ) and see ,if working then fix the memory card & again turn on the camera. If working then fine . Battery will not stay charged after being fully charged

Hi,

How old is the battery?
These happen when battery becomes weak/faulty.

If the battery is new, ask for replacement.
If old, time to get new.

Thanks
