At this point you will have to jail break the iphone and then unlock it. It will resett the phone and allow you to pop in any sim card you want as well as unlocking it and making it your own. There are lots or websites that will tell you how to jailbreak it and unlock it for free. There is a bunch of Youtube videos that also show you how to do these. It is very simple and takes about 30min to complete. Once you learn you can make a couple buck unlocking other peoples iphone & ipod touch cause they both unlock the same way.
