I am not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue, but I have recently paired my Cobra CBTH-2 with my iPhone and Bluetooth shows connected. When I make or receive a call, the other party can hear me, but I can not hear them. This is a huge issue because I am not able to have a conversation with the other person. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?
Can you provide some details? What model Panasonic phone? How is it not working? Does it not turn on? Turns on but doesn't make or receive calls? Connects but you can't hear the other party (or the other party can't hear you)?
Sounds like your speaker has gone, when you next get a call put it on loudspeaker, it should solve the problem, as its a different speaker, you can put it in loudspeaker from options menu when you get a call.
Your speaker is defective, These can be replaced and can be obtained at a fair price on ebay. if you are not capable of repairing yourself there are shops all around NZ that can repair them, just avoid Mobile phone repair and stick to the smaller businesses mostly run by asians that have shops at a lot of the malls.
This can be one of a couple of things. First of all, if this is a multi-handset phone, go off hook on two handsets at the same time and see if you can hear yourself in both phones (Speak into one while listening to the other) If it is only a single handset phone, do the same thing only with another phone. If you cannot hear anything coming from the uniden phone, it may have a bad mic in the handset and would need to be replaced. (the handset not the mic) If you bought it less then a year ago and still have the receipt, call uniden at 18002971023 and they will help you get it replaced.
